Every day is a fresh start. Our joy is genuine when we're feeling grounded and wise. As we experience life we have many questions. The questions are there with good reason. They wake us up to our real lives moment by moment.

What is "Living with the Question."

Being alive begs questions. Even beyond the mundane everyday challenges we face, we live with grand existential queries. Why are we here? What is our meaning? What should we do?

Quite naturally, we spend much of our daily energy trying to fill in the blanks, to answer the questions we face as humans, trying to get our arms around our "situation." Yet, even as we do progress, our questions lead to more questions. Our search to understand is indeed never-ending. Our present is by definition in part occupied by the unresolved.

The result can feel as if we are constantly attempting to hold a beach ball under the water, knowing it will once again bob up to the surface. Tension is created and sustained and felt in the body, the mind and in our emotional selves. After a long time of living this way, constantly fighting for answers, our general health and well-being is affected. We may become tired, low energy, negative. Health concerns may occur. Depression can set in.

But there is solution.

When we become open to practicing ways of accepting our world, of living with the question, powerful things happen. Shifting begins when we view this "ever-questioning" dynamic of our human condition as part of our well-being, as opposed to something that stands in its way. We can open our consciousness by understanding this reality, create ways to integrate healthy practices thus turning wisdom into joy.

Jane Reeves offers a practice that helps us reach this understanding with our bodies, our minds and our spirits. Her style, energy and message as she guides students through yoga and meditation, leads us to a way of thinking where we embrace our challenges as our assets, our questions as our answers.
