Winter/Spring 2012 Public Class Schedule
First Unitarian Society-Minneapolis
Class is a vinyasa flow style class with focus on finding a deeper awareness through yoga, pranayama, sun salutations and standing series poses, balancing poses, twists and seated poses, many of which will challenge and excite! Included are cooling and soothing poses plus inversions. Time at the end for deep relaxation and an inspired reading or two, you will feel refreshed, cleansed and clear after each class.
"Beginners Mind Yoga" Mon. 6:15-7:30 pm April 16-May 21. Come back to yoga! Spring is a wonderful time to reconnect with our bodies and practice the union that yoga offers. Feel welcome to join this class or consider referring it to your friends, families or neighbors. Class is designed for all levels focusing on basic foundational poses, breathing and philosophy of yoga. "Start where you are," is the approach. We'll develop something sustainable as class progresses. Modifications and bare feet encouraged. $90

Open Heart Yoga/All Levels
Fridays 9:00-10:15am
Great class for people with yoga experience & includes warm-up poses, sun salutations, standing poses, hip openers, balancing, inversions, poses that build strength and clarity, mindful focus on breathing and deep relaxation. Open mind and bare feet are welcome. Modifications encouraged when needed.
Beginners Yoga, Thursdays 5:00-6:00 pm, April 26-May 31
For those brand new to yoga or those who desire a slower pace. Basic yoga poses, breathing and philosophy will be introduced. Modifications will be shown. Bring your own props such as mat, blanket, strap, block and eye pillow. 6-weeks $75
Hatha Yoga, Thursdays 6:15-7:30pm, April 26-May 31
Good class for students with some prior yoga experience. We'll practice sun salutations, standing poses, twists, balancing poses and inversions. Sometimes this class will challenge. Students will leave feeling refreshed and cleansed from the inside out. Modifications will be shown. Bring your own props such as mat, blanket, strap, block and eye pillow. 6-weeks $75
