I love teaching yoga and believe that yoga practitioners generally feel happier and healthier.
While teaching I aspire to meet you where you are. We'll focus on the rejuvenative aspects of yoga including good alignment, pranayama, healthy intention and joyful heart. Yoga is wonderful mind-body-spirit therapy. It's a deep and fascinating practice with as much depth as you desire. One of the great lessons in yoga is humility.
As we practice, expression is felt from the inside out. Our bodies have a strong calling for movement. Flowing through poses on the wind of each breath is powerful and affirming. We need daily time to pause and reflect. Quieting the mind is nourishing and during practice we are in the body so the mind can rest. Seeds are planted and tended to. You will learn patience and humility as your body, mind and emotions mingle. Receptivity is heightened and self-awareness is a lovely practice.
More joy = peaceful mind, open- heart, greater awareness, more loving relationships and especially the one we have with ourself.
