I love teaching yoga and believe that yoga practitioners generally feel happier and healthier.
While teaching I aspire to meet you where you are. We'll focus on the rejuvenative aspects of yoga including good alignment, pranayama, healthy intention and joyful heart. Yoga is wonderful mind-body-spirit therapy. It's a deep and fascinating practice with as much depth as you desire. One of the great lessons in yoga is humility.
As we practice, expression is felt from the inside out. Our bodies have a strong calling for movement. Flowing through poses on the wind of each breath is powerful and affirming. We need daily time to pause and reflect. Quieting the mind is nourishing and during practice we are in the body so the mind can rest. Seeds are planted and tended to. You will learn patience and humility as your body, mind and emotions mingle. Receptivity is heightened and self-awareness is a lovely practice.
More joy = peaceful mind, open- heart, greater awareness, more loving relationships and especially the one we have with ourself.
I would love to guide you on your yoga journey.

OM OM OM
Formally trained as a Kripalu instructor and Shambhala meditation teacher, along the path I've studied with many masters of yoga, meditation and wisdom traditions. I also hold a degree in Holistic Wellness & Studies. My teaching philosophy inspires students to be where they are, learning yoga and meditation in a sustainable way, practicing loving kindness and developing the capacity to live more wakeful lives.
"Go Yoga Jane" was born in 2008 after my Minneapolis based yoga studio "360 Yoga" closed. 360 Yoga was a powerful 5 year endeavor which taught me that we take our practice wherever we go. Learning to embrace change is at the heart of daily life. My desire to bring my teachings into a wider range of private, public, corporate and retreat settings has led me to great discoveries. I love the ability to unfetter my surroundings and reach beyond one address. As I continue to explore what it means to teach outside of a "studio," in many diverse and interesting settings, I'm humbled by the cooperation of so many people. Each class is different and I've discovered that "yoga people" are loving, open and adaptive.
